“I will win the 2024 Elections” – Akpaloo

Percival Kofi Akpaloo, the founder of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG) has reiterated that, he will win the upcoming general elections in 2024 with ease.

Mr. Akpaloo made the statement during an interview on Adekye Mu Nsem breakfast show on Ahotor fm 92.3 monday 23rd October, 2023

The leader of the Liberal Party of Ghana said the two major political parties in the country, the NDC and NPP have both disappointed the nation.

He explain that he will contest the impending general polls to break the political duopoly between the two parties.

The LPG founder bemoaned the level of hardships and deprivation in the country and blame the Akufo led administration and Flagbearer of the NDC, John Dramani Mahama for being the problem of Ghanaians.

He said the LPG blueprints are people’s centered and their policies are structured to provide economic respite to the underprivileged in the country.

He underscore the need for duty bearers to accept blame and deliver on its mandate in government.

He stress that the LPG remain the only hope for the people and the voice for the voiceless.

Mr. Kofi Akpaloo furthered that the nation is in dire need of development and quick to add that successive regimes have failed to honour this national duty.

On the issue of the Akosombo Dam Spillage , Mr. Akpaloo opined that, oficials at the Volta River Authority are to blame for the catastrophe since the situation was avoidable.

About 26,000 people have been displaced following Akosombo Dam Spillage with about 102 plus communities affected. This according to experts excludes the quantity of properties destroyed.

Though there no recorded cases of severe fatalities since the Dam Spillage. Government and VRA have come under a barage of criticisms for the development which have sparked public outcry.

Government through National Disaster Management Organisation ( NADMO) has provided some relief items for people in the affected areas.
There are calls for Government to declare a state of emergency in the affected communities but the move have been unsuccessful.

Mr. Akpaloo did not mince words about the situation and describe the activities by VRA as highly inhumane and unpardonable.

Though several people have cast doubt of government’s inability to solve the problem on expeditious note. However, Functionaries in government are of the view that, the situation is under control and emergency services are underway to curtail the volatility of the issue.

Mr. Akpaloo who sounded confident and upbeat emphatically stated that, Ghanaians no longer have confident in President Akufo Addo’s led regime. He said the ordinary citizens in the country are ready to vote against the ruling party since they have not lived up to expectation.

He told citizen Kofi Owusu that he will win the 2024 Elections to prove he is the only person with the magic wand to bring development to the suffering masses.
