Medeama SC received a gh47000 donation from the western regional minister.
The western regional minister, Hon Kwabena Okyere Darko Mensah has pledged to support Medeama SC with a sum of gh47000 for winning the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League.
In addressing the Medeama SC when they paid a visit to the regional minister to present the trophy, he expressed joy over the splendid performance of the team for bringing joy to the region after 47 years of trophy drought and pledged gh47,000 cedis to support the quest in Africa.
“I congratulate the Medeama SC for bringing joy to me and the entire western region for over 47 years now, and due to that, I will contribute gh47000 to support the team. This is history and this history we have to do everything possible to support it to grow.”
The Tarkwa-based club, Medeama Sporting Club won their first-ever Ghana Premier League in 2022/23 seasons.
