I will not contest for the GFA presidency again – Fred Pappoe

Former Ghana Football Association Vice President Fred Pappoe has revealed he would not contest the 2023 GFA Presidential elections.

Speaking about the performance of the current Administration and Whether he still has the desire to contest for the topmost position as the Ghana Football Association President, he debunked Contesting again.

“I’m not dreaming of becoming the Ghana FA President again. I’m getting older and I need to focus on other things,”

The four-year mandate of Kurt Okraku is set to expire in October 2023 with elections set to take place in 8 months.

Pappoe, who is a Senior Policy Advisor at the Embassy of Norway, contested the 2019 elections which were eventually won by Kurt Okraku.

Pappoe played an influential role in Ghana‘s qualification for the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
