Former NPP youth organiser of the Awayaso West Wuogon constituency in the Greater Accra region, Kwadwo Yeboah has fumed that if not anything, the General Secretary of the NDC who is now vying for the chairmanship position, Johnson Asiedu Nketia needs to be suspended from the party before the upcoming congress takes place.
According to him, should the General Secretary win the chairmanship position, all the secrets of the party will come out because he cannot be trusted with his current actions.
Speaking on Ahotor fm’s afternoon political show dubbed Simpieso with host Emmanuel Martey a.k.a. Alaska de don, the former youth organiser said would the General secretary have come out with these secrets if not his bid to win the chairmanship race.
Asiedu Nketia can easily be compromised if he wins the chairmanship position because he cannot keep secrets.
Eligible party delegates will however be presented with an opportunity to elect a new crop of executives to man the affairs of the party on Saturday December 17, at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The incumbent National Chairman of the NDC party who is also contesting to retain his position, Dr Samuel Ofosu Ampofo has inaugurated fifteen (15) policies that he will work with for the benefit of the party folks and the party as a whole.
According to Dr. Ofosu Ampofo, the party needs everyone on board to win the 2024 general elections and that is what he will do should he maintain his position in the upcoming internal congress
This year’s National Congress of the NDC has four candidates contesting for the chairmanship position, the incumbent Dr. Ofosu Ampofo, the general secretary and two others.
