‘Asiedu Nketiah will suffer heavy defeat – Opanyin Sarkodie

A Security Analyst, Opanyin Sarkodie has said, Asiedu Nketiah will suffer heavy defeat in the upcoming chairmanship contest

Speaking on ‘Simpieso’, a political talk show aired on Ahotor FM hosted by Emmanuel Martey, Alaska De Don, he said, they’ve heard that, Asiedu Nketiah have been contracted by the NPP after the demise of his twin brother, Sir John, because of what they intend doing with this debt restructuring but they don’t want to believe but if it is so, he will suffer big loss

“If what we’ve picked on the grounds is true that, the NPP has intentionally contracted him after the demise of his twin brother, Sir John because of what they intend doing with this debt restructure issues, knowing the NDC will stand their grounds to resist and therefore, pushing this whole Chairmanship agenda which is making it look like NDC as at now do not have united front because of this contest, then he will suffer heavy defeat”

He indicated however that, it could be that what they are thinking is not true, but if not so, then he is up  to something

He indicated that there might be tantrums from Asiedu Nketiah after the heavy defeat and so urged the NDC to stand on their grounds

Opanyin Sarkodie stated that, what happened at Ayawaso bye-election was a security threat to the NDC and the nation as a whole, and so the NDC did well in withdrawing from the election

“if Asiedu Nketiah says, Ofosu Ampofo took the wrong decision in withdrawing from Ayawaso bye-election, he has not only insulted Ofosu Ampofo but the security intelligence of the NDC and the former president John Dramani Mahama

“Didn’t he hear former president Mahama say, it was the wisest decision? Ofosu Ampofo was properly advised” he said

The NDC has slated it’s National Delegates Congress to take place on December 17, 2022 at Accra Sports Stadium with that of the Women and Youth wing conference taking place at Cape Coast on December 10, 2022
