Tamale City will face Nsoatreman FC in the final of the Division One League Zone One after both sides accumulated the same points with the same head-to-head after week 30 of the Division One League Zone One.
The season’s progression is the furthest the clubs have gone in the Division One League since the commencement of 2021/22.
The Tamale-based club reached the playoff thanks to a thrilling 5-0 win over Bolga All-Stars at home whiles Nsoatreman overcame Unity FC 1-0 at home.
Tamale City will now face Nsoatreman FC in the Division One League play-off at a neutral ground yet to be named in a bid to gain promotion to the Ghana Premier League.
However, according to the Ghana FA rules and sources close to us, have revealed that the Division One League Zone One winner will be decided in the playoff final at a neutral venue.
“Competition’s rule 7/E reads in the event there is still a tie after the application of all the above, the GFA shall organize a playoff between/or amongst the teams concerned at a neutral ground.
Both teams had an impressive 71 points after 30 games.
