Authorities recently embarked on a demolition exercise at the are rendered residents homeless.
Residents mostly NDC supporters in Ayigbe Town near Nestle Ghana Limited in Tema, today have had their homes razed down with claims that they are illegal occupants of the land.
About 400 people have been left stranded after the government demolished structures at a community called Ayigbe town in the Tema Central constituency.
According to the affected residents (mostly Voltarians and Northerners), their troubles started when they attempted registering at a nearby registration centre. Most of them had their citizenship challenged by the NPP agents who swore to have them moved from the constituency.
In a gestapo style this afternoon, Uniformed police and national security officers led a demolition exercise there.
Akufo-Addo and his wicked government clearly has no limitation. They did a similar thing to an ewe community in Banda a few weeks ago.
It was teary seeing even nursing mothers crying , the security forces did not even allow them to pack out their belongings.
We never saw or witnessed this level of wickedness during the tenure of president John Mahama’s presidency. JM was never this wicked to Ghanaians, regardless of one political colour.
