Members of striking unions are expected to resume work today.
The three (3) striking unions comprising of the Senior Staff Association of the Universities of Ghana, Teacher and Educational Workers Union and the Federation of Universities Senior Staff last Friday announced the suspension of their industrial action following a successful negotiation with government.
Speaking to Ahotor news, on the development, the national chairman of the Senior Staff Association of the Universities of Ghana Isaac Donkor said members of the three unions will be at post today February 12, 2024.
Mr. Donkor however said the union will not hesitate to resume their strike if government does not implement the agreed roadmap for the payment of penalty and the recalculation of the accrued interest on tear 2 pensions from 2010-2016.
