Sam Pee Yalley, the President of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Professionals Forum, has announced his support for Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang as the running mate for John Dramani Mahama.
According to Yalley, who is also the Former Ambassador to India and Sri Lanka, Naana Opoku Agyemang is the perfect choice to support the NDC’s Presidential Candidate.
“I am speaking as the President of the NDC’s Professionals Forum, and we declare our support for Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang,” he stated.

The Produce Buying Company (PBC) has faced challenges since last year, struggling to secure funds for the purchase of cocoa beans due to its outstanding debts. These debts have hindered the company from conducting financial transactions through commercial banks.
Addressing the issues facing PBC, Mr. Yalley spoke to Emmanuel Martey, also known as Alaska De Don on Ahotor 92.3 Fm‘s Simpieso, saying, “Look at PBC, Kwame Nkrumah established PBC to buy cocoa from the farmers for the government to sell and return the money. Do we even sell cocoa and operate at a loss?” He questioned the government’s management of the situation.
Yalley emphasized that the country is currently heading into a crisis, and it requires an experienced leader to navigate through it for the benefit of future generations. He stressed the importance of serious leadership, stating, “We are not ready for further jokes. We are ready to rescue this country for future generations. You talk about FreeSHS, which is very good, but what comes next after FreeSHS?”
