The Administrator of the Ghana Medical Trust Fund, Adwoa Oboubia Darko Opoku, has commended the Commissioner-General of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), Anthony Kwasi Sarpong, for supporting the Fund’s ongoing “Kyɛre Wo Do” Drive.
According to her, Mr. Sarpong demonstrated strong leadership and compassion by accepting a public challenge initiated by the Chief Executive Officer of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), Eric Adjei, and subsequently visiting the Fund to show solidarity with Ghanaians battling life-threatening health conditions.
The “Kyɛre Wo Do” Drive is a nationwide fundraising campaign aimed at mobilising public and corporate support to provide financial assistance to patients suffering from critical illnesses.
As part of the campaign, the Ghana Medical Trust Fund has appealed to individuals, organisations, and corporate institutions to contribute towards the initiative by dialing *255# on all networks or making direct deposits into the Fund’s designated accounts at the National Investment Bank (Airport Branch) and First Atlantic Bank (Head Office Branch).
The Fund stressed that every contribution, regardless of the amount, can significantly help save lives, reduce suffering, and ease the financial burden on affected families.
Reaffirming its commitment to supporting vulnerable patients across the country, the Ghana Medical Trust Fund has urged the public to join the “Kyɛre Wo Do” Drive and stand with those in need during their most difficult moments.
