I support Bawumia but don’t insult me – Fred Kyei Mensah warns

Famed music producer, Fred Kyei Mensah has amenably stated his support for New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential flagbearer and current vice-president, Dr Mahumudu Bawumia.

The producer responsible for the hit song “Cobra” by Obaapa Christy expressed support for the vice president on Facebook
In his post, he recounted his political journey and affiliations. He stated that he had served several political parties in Ghana since 1992. He began by supplying fuel to the NDC party for their activities.

The speaker revealed that he had actively participated in political campaigns by attending rallies and putting up posters for various candidates including Dr. Busia, Victor Owusu, JA Kufuor, Atta Mills, and Nana Akufo-Addo. He also mentioned that he had produced jingles for the CPP and founded the Creative Arts for Change group to support the NPP.

After endorsing Bawumia, Fred Kyei Mensah cautioned his Facebook followers to refrain from disrespectful comments on his political posts, threatening to block anyone who disobeys as he would not tolerate insults.
