The Electoral Commission of Ghana (EC) says offline voter registration will commence on the 9th of May, 2024.

In a statement, the country’s electoral governing body stated it is switching to offline registration due to the challenges with online registration.

“The Commission wishes to inform all its stakeholders and the General Public that some challenges were experienced with the network this afternoon, affecting the Online mode of registration.

“The Commission has directed its District Offices to switch to the Offline mode of registration beginning tomorrow, the 9th of May, 2024.

“The Commission apologizes for the delays experienced this afternoon,” Ag. Director Public Affairs of EC, Mr. Michael Boadu stated.

In another development the Volta Regional Secretariat of the National Democratic Congress is of the view that, there is a deliberate attempt to slow the excise in the region as the strong hold of the NDC, not to allowed more people into the register.

EC’s Limited Registration Centers Across The Volta Region Flooded With heavy Police And Military Presence and this Should tell you how clueless the EC and the NPP government is to the good people of Ghana.

I vehemently want to call on Voltarians and all other places across the country facing these empty threats from the incompetent Nana Addo/ Dr. Bawumia led NPP government to be fearless in their quest to get into Electoral register of our country.
