(Audio) Paying Assembly members; I support John Mahama’s call – Dade Agbo Assemblyman

Assemblymember for Dade Agbo electoral area in the Tema East Municipal of Greater Accra Region, Hon Joshua Agudah has thrown his support on the promise by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer John Dramani Mahama of paying assemblymembers when the NDC takes over after the 2024 elections.

Mr. Aguda says that’s a great initiative which will help the members to do more developmental projects in their various electoral areas.

According to him, most of the electorates go to their assembly members anytime they are in need because they see them to be closer to them than the MMDCEs and others.

Speaking to @Ahotoronline.com, the assemblyman elected for the Dade Agbo electoral area said he was happy to hear such an initiative from the former president and he believes in him that, should he get the nod after the 2024 elections, he will do as he has already said.

According to him, he will do all in his capacity for the NDC and John Mahama to win the 2024 elections so that their needs will also be tackled.

“Even though we are not paid the pressure we go through is more than the MMDCEs who are been paid” he added.

He said they’re doing their best with the little that they have and they know when they get something small from the central government in addition to what they have, they will do more.
