Honorable Alan Kwodwo Kyeremanten says he does not regret leaving his turn to lead the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
According to him, the NPP needed those sacrifices at that time so badly to move forward as a party in that election.
He said the NPP was on the verge of collapsing hence the need to fix that deadlock, behooves him to do the needful for the interest of the party to march on.
Mr. Kyeremanteng added that he took the decision, as a divine responsibility in the past to reunite the party.
‘’At that time I had to do that, since the party needed my sacrifices so badly, as the party was without unity and as a founding member I could not watch us go down, so I do not regret doing that at all” he said.
He added that he has never seen the NPP leadership as a family entitle legacy, but just as a position to lead where other political parties do contest and win.
