Bawah Fuseini, the current President of Ghana Athletics, has revealed that there were individuals who deliberately wanted him to fail during his time as caretaker secretary of the organization.
According to Bawah, he later discovered individuals who were present at that time purposefully planned and had the intention to make him a total failure. He said that all the things they taught him were misleading and utterly wrong.
He stated, “Those who were there when I came, later on, I got to know that all what they were teaching or telling me to do were wrong things, they were just there to make sure that I failed”.
One specific incident he mentioned was when he was to make a budget for the African Championship, he then sought the assistance of the chief coach and surprisingly, all that he was directed to write was pointed to be errors by the same person when it was time to justify the budget.
“Everything that the man asked me to write in that budget, when we got to Mr. Adorkor’s side to go and defend it he was pointing to those things as errors in the budget” he stated.
