Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) lost a headline sponsorship deal worth GH¢800, 000 after Asante Kotoko withdrew from the G6 Tournament.
Baladna, Qatar’s largest dairy and beverage producer agreed with GHALCA to invest GH¢800, 000 into this year’s tournament but later decided to back out from the deal after Kotoko’s withdrawal news.
GHALCA EXCO will meet tomorrow to discuss the tournament’s future. #AngelSports, a source revealed that it’s likely the tournament will be cancelled due to a lack of funds after all the sponsors are running away.
