A/R: COMMISSIONING OF MECHANISED BOREHOLE AT DUAPONKO

Pecan Energies Ghana limited and Buruli Ulcer Victims Aid (BUVAFOUNDATION PROJECT) has commissioned a mechanised borehole for the people of Duaponko in the Afigya Kwabre North District in the Ashanti region.

The above mentioned community were sharing water with reared animals like cattles, sheeps etc, so Mr Emmanuel Jackson Agumah who is the founder and leader for Buruli Ulcer Victims Aid (BUVA) foundation and doubles as the parliamentary candidate for Afigya Kwabre North NDC promised to get them a portable drinking water. Mr Emmanuel explains the reason behind the donation and their funding partner for today’s donation. Mr Agumah advised we use medicated soaps to prevent ourselves from transferable skin diseases.

Some residents of Duaponko are very excited to have access to good drinkable water through Pecan GH and BUVA foundation project.  They seized the opportunity to call on government to come to their aid with lighting system and good roads because, the aforementioned amenities will help and make living there easy and affordable. Honorable Osmah Aso Lambeth who is the assembly member for Duaponko electoral area added community really need social amenities like toilet, good road and portable drinking water  as Pecan GH and BUVA foundation presented today.
