Dela Edem from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) National Communications team thanked John Mahama for choosing Dr. Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo for his 2024 campaign.
He appreciated John Mahama for ignoring lies spread about Dr. Ofosu-Ampofo within the party.
Speaking on Ahotor FM’s ‘Simpieso‘ show with host Emmanuel Martey, Dela Edem highlighted that Dr. Ofosu-Ampofo’s inclusion in the campaign team demonstrates the NDC’s unity.
The NDC recently revealed its National Campaign Team for the 2024 General Elections set for December. This team, overseeing both presidential and parliamentary campaigns, features prominent members such as Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, Dr. Joseph Yasmin, Richard Quashiga, and Sammy Gyamfi.
Heading the campaign efforts is the Campaign Steering Committee, comprising leaders like Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketia and Dr. Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo.
They will work closely with the party’s flag-bearer, John Dramani Mahama, to execute strategies effectively.
Dela Edem expressed confidence in the team, predicting victory in the upcoming December polls for the NDC.

He also criticized the New Patriotic Party (NPP), suggesting they are struggling to name a running mate due to the expectation of losing power, leaving potential candidates hesitant to join.
