The President of the Chamber of Local Governance (CHALOG) Dr. Richard Fiadomor has declared support for the NDC and their flagbearer John Dramani Mahama for their proposed 24-hour Economy policy.
Speaking on Ahotor 92.3 FM’s morning show Ade Kye Mu Nsem, Mr. Fiadomor said the introduction of a 24-hour economy will help the district assemblies as they have been neglected since the NPP came to power.
He revealed that the district assemblies’ common fund has not been paid for the last 4 quarters under the Nana Addo-Bawumia government.
Mr. Fiadomor applauded the Trades Union Congress (TUC) for endorsing the 24-hour economy proposal by John Dramani Mahama.
Commenting on the Electoral Commission (EC), he said the commissioner Jean Mensah is running the EC like a Sole proprietorship enterprise.
Mr. Fiadomor said naturally the 2024 general elections can be held without the indelible ink but Jean Mensah has a trust deficit, and Ghanaians don’t trust her decisions.
He believes the actions of the Electoral Commission Boss show she wants to rig the 2024 elections for the ruling NPP government.
