Dede Ayew is an integral part of the Black Stars – Ex Black Stars Player

Former Black Stars midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has expressed that the captain of the Black Stars Andre Dede Ayew is still key in the Black Stars looking at the poor performance of the team.

In an exclusive interview with Ahotor Agorokensie, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu emphasized that even if Andre Ayew will not be playing regularly, his off-the-field contribution to the national team cannot be overlooked.He insists that Ayew remains key to the Black Stars.

“We will still need Dede Ayew in the Black Stars, he’s still the leader of the team. Not necessarily on the pitch but for other unforeseen circumstances, I was called to the Black Stars when l was injured for two weeks but Avram Grant gave me the opportunity to be part of the team due to my experience.”

In the last few assignments of the Black Stars, many Ghanaians have indicated that it is about time Andre Ayew’s time with the national team comes to an end.
