The leader of the All Peoples Party Dr. Hassan Ayariga has said the two main political parties, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) leadership offered Ghanaians in the fourth republic in the past 32 years have not brought any meaningful development to the country.
He discloses this on Adekye Mu Nsem’s morning show on Ahotor FM 92.3 in Accra.
He said the reality we can see from the successive government reign of power and governance is nothing, just division on party line, which he thinks in recent times, has led to voter apathy in our national elections.
He believes about 6.5 million people don’t trust the NPP and the NDC in their leadership in the development of the country. Dr Hassan Ayariga said this called for a change of leadership for an alternative new political party that can bring meaningful social and economic prosperity into the country.
Going forward the leader of APC opined that, his party agenda going into the 2024 elections is to bring along the youth, who are impoverished and unemployed to join him to bring the alternative in the political leadership of the country.
He reiterated that the agenda of the APC brand effect for the next election is to the sale and package his party to encourage the 6.5 million voters who have lost confidence in the government of President Nana Akufo Addo, to vote for him to lead the country.
More so, strategically, the APC is dotting its brand effect throughout the country close to the people to make informed decisions in the next election to vote for APC to win political power in the 2024 elections.
Dr. Hassan Ayariga chastises the New Patriotic Party government for mismanaging the economy coupled with corruption and human rights abuse, and this he believes has brought hardship among Ghanaians.
He further stated that our dear country Ghana’s debt crisis has made the country not credit-worthy in all our economic indicators, which he said has worsened the standard of living in the country coupled with poverty and hardship among workers.
This he noted calls for change for APC to be voted into power to put its development agenda to Ghanaians to bring economic prosperity to all.
