General Olusegun Obasanjo the former Nigerian President, has said that we are in bad shape as Africans because leadership has not been good as it should be.
According to him, “We can go blaming colonial power or even slave trade if we like, but truth is, we as Africans have not been up to the leadership and governance we ought to”.
He was speaking at Mankesim in the central region over the weekend at an African Youth conference.
“Our problem is simply leadership and governance we are in bad shape due to bad leadership and governance ‘’ he said.
