The Leadership of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) has described moves by certain individuals to form a new MUSIGHA as unfortunate.
In a statement issued on the 29th of June 2023 signed by the Acting MUSIGA President Bessa Simons cited by Ahotoronline.com, it says such moves are a ploy to sow discord and confusion within the ranks of the membership of MUSIGA.
MUSIGA is preparing to have their elections on August 8 this year and the Executives are warning that any member who joins the purported new MUSIGHA will lose his or her membership of the Union.
