It was all NDC affairs when the “Galaxies” of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) gathered at the Koforidua Jubilee Park in the Eastern Region to support the former Chairman of the Party Dr. Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo who was saying good bye to his late mother Mary Gyawubea Badu.
The late Mary Gyawubea Badu passed on last year at the age of 85.
The current National Chairman of the NDC Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, General Secretary Fiifi Fiavi Kwetey, Presidential Candidate Hopefuls, John Dramani Mahama, Dr. Kwabena Duffuor and the 2020 Running Mate of the party Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang were all present at the Jubilee Park.
Old and New Executives of the party, Old and New Ministers, Parliamentarians and some of the gurus in the NDC party were present to help their “Brother” Dr. Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo.
Representatives from the various Political Parties, Clergies, Churches, Chiefs were all among the dignitaries.
Former President John Dramani Mahama pledged support for the family of Dr. Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo.
Mr. Mahama said Ofosu-Ampofo is precious to the NDC and for all Executives of the party both past and new together with some dignitaries coming to support him is a proof of that.
Dr. Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo thanked everybody for their support especially to John Mahama whom he prophesied that he will be President of Ghana again.
