A Campaign team member of Chairman Ofosu Ampofo team, Bernard Oduro Takyi (BOT) has said, Ofosu Ampofo will win this chairmanship contest hands down
He explained that, “ I had a dream where General gave up 70 percent into counting and accepted defeat. After counting, the difference between Chairman and General was not less than 500 votes”
“I pray this dream come to past” he concluded
He made this known on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 in an interview with Emmanuel Martey, Alaska De Don on Simpieso, the hottest political show airborne on Ahotor FM
Currently, Mr. Ofosu Ampofo’s role as the NDC’s National Chairman is being threatened by the decision of the party’s General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah to unseat him.
In what has been described as the main contest in the party’s upcoming election, Mr. Asiedu Nketia is frantically taking steps to become the National Chairman ahead of the 2024 general election.
The upcoming national delegates conference will take place on December 17, 2022 at the Accra Sports Stadium
Eligible party delegates will elect a new crop of executives to man the affairs of the party at the national level for the next four years.
