The former coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo has resigned from his position after the expiration of his contract with the Ghana Football Association.
In a post-match press conference after Ghana’s 2 : 0 defeat to Uruguay, he said he would love to continue his career in Germany in the long run.
“My family is happy in Germany. I said I would step down after the world cup even if we are champions of the tournament. I have resigned from my role as a coach ”

GEORGE BOATENG
George Boateng was the first Assistant coach for Otto Addo at the Black Stars. He was the head coach of Aston Villa U23 and has established his intentions to handle the black stars.
CHRIS HUGHTON
Chris Hughton, who is the current Black Stars technical Advisor to Otto Addo and the Technical team in the participation of the black stars in the Fifa world Cup in Qatar 2022. He worked with Otto Addo during his time with the black stars. He was a long-time candidate for this job even before Otto Addo was appointed.
HERVE RENARD
He is the current head coach of the Saudi Arabia team who made history by defeating Argentina in the first group match in the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar. He was the Assistant coach of the black stars under Claude Leroy in 2008.
