Head of Administration at the International Maritime Hospital in Tema, Dr. Adams Musah has advised Ghanaians to develop the habit of going for regular medical checkups to prevent avoidable deaths.
He said it is important for everyone to check his or her health conditions regularly to detect potential life-threatening health diseases early.
Dr. Musah said this at a health screening program as part of activities to mark the hospital’s upcoming 5th Anniversary Celebration.
The authorities and staffs of the hospital went on a float and followed it with health screening and games, to draw the attention of the public to the hospital’s upcoming 5th anniversary celebration grand durbar which falls on Tuesday 13th September 2022.
He said the hospital can boast of the state-of-the-art equipmenst and going forward, hope to serve Ghanaians better.
“We need to screen when we reach some certain age like 30 or 50, and take your health serious”, he said.
Speaking to the media, he shared some technical strategies that one can look on the check their health.
