The Member of Parliament for Tain Constituency, Hon Adama Sulemana says Ghanaians have lost trust, confidence and hope in the Nana Addo-Bawumia led government
According to him, the disappointments of Ghanaians on the passage of the e-levy coupled with their calls and expectations on the minority and the former president, John Dramani Mahama to react to the situation attest to it
Speaking today, March 30 on Simpieso show, he indicated that, “it is clear, Ghanaians have come to the realization that, this current government is not a listening government”
In an interview with the host, Emmanuel Martey, Alaska De Don, Hon Sulemana stated, the NDC stands on the side of Ghanaians and therefore their faith in the minority led to what happened on their side yesterday, March 29 in parliament
The Minority in parliament remains resolute to their stance on e-levy, hence staged a walk out yesterday in parliament at the second reading
The Minority consider the e-levy a nuisance tax which will overburden the suffering Ghanaian
They have filed suit to challenge the passage of the controversial bill
