Fans of Elmina Sharks stormed the field to attack referee Eric Owusu Bempah after their home loss to Medeama SC in the week 15 of the Ghana Premier League .
Ghanaians were shocked after the video went viral on social media with security personnel escorting the referee out of the field after the game at the Nduom Sports Stadium today.
Ahotor FM sports are yet to know how the fans entered the stadium after the GFA’s directive to play all games behind closed doors due to the surge of the coronavirus pandemic in the country.
However, we can confirm that the fans were agitated and blamed the referee for being biased throughout the game and causing their first home loss of the season.
Medeama defeated Elmina Sharks 2 – 1 and moved to fourth on the league log in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
