The Vice Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang has said that she never goes into battles to lose.
According to her, she has always worked hard to win her battles and this time is no different as she promises to work towards making the NDC great by ensuring it wins the 2020 polls.
The NDC running mate made this known when she spoke to Kweku Sintim-Misa in an interview on the KSM show which airs on Metro TV
The former Education Minister who has been an advocate for a clean campaign and politics devoid of insults and name-calling reiterated her stance for clean party politicking
She noted that the country will fail if the fabric of society that is supposed to bind us together is destroyed by indiscipline and therefore called on politicians to elevate the discussions in politics in the country.
She said “I don’t go into battles to lose, I work hard to win and on the battleground of insults, insult by insult, they will “out-insult” me and I don’t see the benefit of that. We shall not get to a level where we think to be politicians, you must insult people, I do not think so. If insults solve problems in this country, we won’t have any problems at all”.
The NDC running mate is on tour of the Northern, Upper and Savannah regions where she will be for the ten days before she comes back to the capital, Accra.
