This is how Ghana can QUALIFY for the 2018 World Cup

Ghana’s hopes of reaching a fourth straight World Cup seems fading away after being held at home to a 1-1 draw by Congo on Friday.

Almeria forward Thievy Bifouma opened the scoring in the 18th minute while Thomas Partey scored a late equalizer for the Black Stars in the 86th minute.

The 2006 World Cup quarter finalists have now gone three games in the qualifiers without a win as they were held twice at home by Uganda and Congo and losing to Egypt in Alexandria.

They are now third of the group with 2 points behind leaders Uganda (7 points) and Egypt (6 points).
Now, let’s look at how the Black Stars can advance to the Mundial in Russia next year

This is how Ghana’s group stands now

Let’s the calculations begin here:

Should Egypt and Uganda draw in their return leg fixture and Ghana defeat Congo in Brazzaville on Tuesday, the Black Stars will still remain third on the log on 5 points, with Uganda still topping thee group on 8 and Egypt, 7. Congo will still languish at the bottom on 1 point…
Teams Points
Uganda 8
Egypt 7
Ghana 5
Congo 1
Match day five fixtures will see the Black Stars travelling to Kampala to play away to table toppers Uganda on Saturday, 7th October 2017. Egypt will host Congo in the other group E fixture at the Borg El Arab stadium a day after.
A resounding victory for Ghana against the Ugandans at the Mandela National stadium means that the Black Stars will accrue 8 points, but a win for the Pharoahs of Egypt over the Red Devils of Congo will move the North African giants to 10 points…
Teams Points
Egypt 10
Ghana 8
Uganda 8
Congo 1
The final day of the qualifiers will now determine who qualifies from group E.
Ghana will host Egypt at the Baba Yara stadium, whiles Congo will welcome Uganda to the Stade Municipal de Kintélé in Brazzaville. A resounding triumph for the Black Stars, regardless of what transpires in the Congo-Uganda match, will see Ghana through to Russia 2018.
Then the final table will be….
Teams Points

Uganda 11
Egypt 10
