Svani Group CEO Donates Two Vehicles to Ahotor FM in Support of Press Freedom

The Chief Executive Officer of Svani Group of Companies, Mr. Thomas Svanikier, has donated two brand-new Mahindra Scorpio pickup vehicles to Ahotor FM as the station marks its 10th anniversary.

The donation was made during a courtesy visit by the management and founder of Ahotor FM, Dr. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo. Mr. Svanikier congratulated the station on its milestone, commending Ahotor FM for its role in shaping communities and educating the public through targeted, people-centered programming.

He urged the station to continue championing the voice of the masses through quality content and public education. As a strong advocate of democracy and free speech, Mr. Svanikier expressed appreciation for the long-standing partnership between Svani Group and Universal Multimedia Company Limited, operators of Ahotor FM 92.3 and Radio 1. 100.7.

 

“I don’t joke with press freedom, and I will always do everything within my power to ensure the media work without hindrance,” he stated.

Acknowledging the gesture, Dr. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, Founder and CEO of Universal Multimedia Company Limited, thanked Mr. Svanikier for the altruistic act. He said the vehicles would significantly enhance the station’s operations and called for a stronger, lasting collaboration between both institutions.

Management of Ahotor FM led by the station’s general manager Ahuma Ocansey Bosco also expressed gratitude and reaffirmed their commitment to deepening the friendly relationship with Svani Group.
