Stonebwoy wins Best African Dancehall act at IRWMA

At the 2024 International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRWMA), which took place on March 22nd at the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center in Fort Lauderdale.

Ghanaian musician Livingstone Etse Satekla, popularly known as Stonebwoy, won the highly acclaimed title of Best African Dancehall Entertainer.

The ceremony marked the 41st anniversary of the awards and showcased exceptional talent while also highlighting the importance of health awareness.

Other notable award winners included Nigerian artist Wizkid, who won the Best Afrobeat Entertainer award, and Burna Boy, who won three awards, including Best African Entertainer, Best Music Video, and Best Crossover Song for his track “Talibans II.”

The Emperor of Reggae & World Music award was also presented to Sean Paul as a recognition of his contribution to the music industry.
