“Rockson Bombshell: Adutwum’s Clean Campaign Makes Him Bawumia’s Perfect Running Mate for 2028 Sweep!”

Hon. Lambert Appiah Rockson, the Greater Accra Regional Coordinator for Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum and the aspiring Parliamentary Candidate for Ablekuma South Constituency on the New Patriotic Party (NPP) ticket, has made a passionate call for unity between Dr. Bawumia’s camp and Dr. Adutwum’s team ahead of the 2028 general elections.

Speaking candidly about the recent campaigns, Hon. Rockson emphasized the exemplary conduct of Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum’s team. “When it comes to Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum’s campaign, we have a spotless record, no insults, no mudslinging. It was a clear, fair campaign from start to finish,” he declared. “What we told the delegates was straightforward: this is what Dr. Adutwum can do to transform Ghana and strengthen the NPP for the better.”

He highlighted Dr. Adutwum’s distinction among the five candidates vying for key positions. “If Dr. Bawumia’s camp and Dr. Adutwum’s camp come together for a 2028 victory, I can confidently say that among the five candidates, Dr. Adutwum was the one whose words were clear and respectful, without a single ill word against Dr. Bawumia,” Rockson noted. “We’re fully willing to collaborate because throughout our campaign, we never threw any dirt at Dr. Bawumia or his team.”

Rockson pointed to Dr. Adutwum’s proven track record as a key asset. “Through his hard work, countless Ghanaians have benefited from the revolutionary STEM education initiatives to the game-changing Free SHS policy,” he said. “Imagine the impact if he’s selected as running mate. It would propel us straight to victory.”

Challenging political conventions, he argued that true leadership transcends rivalry. “It’s never happened before that a winner picks one of their direct competitors as a partner, but politics isn’t about grudges, it’s about focus, aim, determination, and caliber,” Rockson explained. “You select the person who can genuinely help deliver victory. Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum fits that bill perfectly. He can pull massive votes for us in the Ashanti Region, our NPP stronghold. With Dr. Bawumia choosing him as running mate, we’d sweep the 2028 elections.”

Looking ahead, Rockson outlined a bold, youth-focused campaign strategy for 2028. “Our message will be different laser-focused on tackling youth unemployment and transforming Ghana,” he promised. “We’ll train the youth for sustainable jobs, the kind that change lives forever. Building on our successes, we’ll roll out free tertiary education, free healthcare, and free electricity. These aren’t empty promises; we’ve delivered similar policies before, and we’ll make them a reality to win hearts and votes.”

Unity, he stressed, is non-negotiable for NPP’s revival. “We need a strong, unified party one that’s attractive and brings the youth back to the NPP fold,” Rockson urged. Drawing lessons from rivals, he added, “We need a chairman like the NDC’s Johnson Asiedu Nketia. He’s rebranded the NDC to be so appealing that youth are flocking to them. We must do the same for NPP, rebrand boldly to recapture that energy.”

In a heartfelt appeal to party leaders at all levels from grassroots to national he called for merit-based choices. “If you have favorites among those contesting, pick the ones who can truly serve the party,” he implored. “The NPP is a party of loyalists, and it must remain so to stay attractive and draw others in. Let’s build an inclusive movement that leaves no one behind.”

Hon. Rockson’s remarks underscore a growing push within NPP ranks for reconciliation and strategic alliances, positioning Dr. Adutwum as a bridge-builder for electoral success.
