There is nothing as powerful as responding to hate with love. It is the way of Christ, the path to God . The man who does that has reached spiritual maturity. Nothing has control over him. Like Christ, he has conquered the world.
The purpose of evil is to direct us to evil. When evil cannot lead you to evil, you have truly conquered the world like Christ. His victory over the world simply means he did not allow this evil world to dictate his behavior under any circumstance. He chose right over evil anytime all the time. That is the character of God, and that is what he expects from his children: to be like Him.
Choose to be like Christ everyday. Choose good over evil or pay evil with good.
