Paris Saint-Germain crushed Barcelona out of the Champions League

In a remarkable turn of events at Estadio Olimpico Lluis Company’s, Paris Saint-Germain dealt a crushing blow to FC Barcelona with a 4-1 victory (6-4 on aggregate), ending Barcelona’s hopes of reaching the Champions League finals.

Paris Saint-Germain delivered a masterclass performance, leaving Barcelona reeling as they dominated the pitch.

The match began with Raphinha striking first for FC Barcelona in the opening 12 minutes, courtesy of an assist from Lamine Yamal. However, Barcelona’s momentum was short-lived as they suffered a setback with a red card, shifting the balance in PSG’s favor.

Despite the setback, Barcelona managed to hold on to a 1-1 draw at halftime, thanks to Ousmane Dembele’s equalizing goal in the 40th minute. However, the second half belonged entirely to Paris Saint-Germain.

Vitinha extended PSG’s lead with a goal in the 54th minute, followed by Kylian Mbappe’s clinical finish from a penalty in the 61st minute, putting PSG firmly in control. Mbappe further cemented PSG’s victory with another goal in the 89th minute, sealing Barcelona’s fate with a 4-1 defeat.

With this commanding performance, Paris Saint-Germain shattered Barcelona’s dreams of advancing to the Champions League finals, leaving fans stunned and PSG celebrating a triumphant victory.
