Ghanaian musician King Pagis has called for increased investment in the country’s music industry to help both emerging and established artistes thrive.
Speaking on Ahotor Mmre with Obaapa Janee on Ahotor FM, King Pagis emphasised that while Ghana is blessed with immense musical talent, many artistes struggle to reach their full potential due to a lack of financial support and investment.
According to him, investors play a crucial role in developing the industry by providing resources that enable musicians to produce high-quality music, market their work effectively, and compete on the international stage.
“The music industry needs investors. Many talented artistes have great potential, but without the necessary support, it becomes difficult for them to grow and sustain their careers,” he noted.
King Pagis made these remarks while promoting his latest single, “Super Woman.”
The singer revealed that the song was inspired by a special woman and tells a beautiful love story.
The musician also urged music lovers to support local artistes by streaming, sharing, and promoting their songs, stressing that collective support can help elevate Ghana’s music industry to greater heights.
King Pagis’ appearance on Ahotor Mmre offered fans a deeper insight into his musical journey, his vision for the industry, and the inspiration behind his latest release.
