Medikal Calls for Peace as Kwesi Arthur–Label Dispute Continues

Ghanaian rapper Medikal has added his voice to the ongoing conversation surrounding the contract dispute between Kwesi Arthur and his former record label boss, calling for understanding and freedom for the award-winning artist.

Speaking with concern, Medikal urged the label to allow Kwesi Arthur to move on and focus on rebuilding his career.

According to him, the “Grind Day” hitmaker has already endured enough challenges and deserves the space to grow without restrictions.

Medikal emphasised that holding Kwesi Arthur back at this stage would only deepen the struggle, especially when the rapper has clearly decided to leave everything behind and start afresh.

He noted that every artist deserves the chance to chase their purpose and peace, especially after giving their all to a brand.

The industry must begin to prioritise artists’ mental well-being and long-term growth over prolonged disputes.

Medikal’s message is reminding all parties that sometimes, the best move is to let go and allow talent to flourish.
