General Secretary for the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG) Mr. Jerry Owusu Appiah has confirmed that they have joined some other parties to court because the Electoral Commission is behaving too autocratic.
According to him, 2021 was the last time they set an eye on Jean Mensah at their IPAC meetings and the only thing they get are orders from her.
He said the decision by the EC was not discussed with them in any way as it would give them complications.
He said they want the court to restrain the Electoral Commission from its planned exercise else they will do something since they have democracy backing them with many options.
