Health Minister Kwaku Agyeman Manu has revealed that the ministry has employed 152,472 nurses and midwives out of the 17,566 trained between 2019 and 2022.
According to the minister, the ministry in collaboration with the Ministry of Labor Relations is putting in place a migration law to solve the issue of health personnel migration.
He also mentioned that the ministry is considering improving its training.
“The ministry has taken turns to improve training, employment, and retention of health personnel,” he said.
