MP Osei Kyei-Menah-Bonsu Urges Swift Government Action on Tablet Distribution to SHSs
Suame’s Member of Parliament, Osei Kyei-Menah-Bonsu, has called on the government to expedite the allocation of funds for distributing tablets to various senior high schools nationwide.
Kyei-Menah-Bonsu emphasized that Parliament had approved a budget exceeding GH¢1.4 billion for the procurement of these devices, aimed at benefiting students across different senior high schools.
Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia had also announced the government’s plan to provide complimentary electronic tablets to all senior high school students nationwide. These tablets, as per the Vice President, would serve as alternative textbooks for the students.
Addressing Parliament on Tuesday, March 19, Kyei-Menah-Bonsu stressed the importance of promptly initiating the purchase and distribution process of the tablets, considering the approved funds by Parliament.
