Actor, farmer, and politician John Dumelo once again proved his passion for agriculture and youth empowerment as he chaired the Innovation, Research and Development Presentation Session during the 41st Farmers’ Day week-long celebration in Ho.
The event brought together brilliant researchers and innovators from universities across the country, each showcasing impressive ideas designed to transform Ghana’s agricultural landscape.
From technology-driven farming solutions to creative processing methods, the presentations highlighted a future where farming becomes smarter, easier, and more profitable.
Dumelo, who has become a strong voice for modern agriculture, stressed the importance of securing adequate funding for these innovations. According to him, supporting these young researchers is the key to boosting productivity and ensuring Ghana’s agricultural sector remains competitive.
