GIPC Revises 2026 Fees: How Much Will Investors Now Pay to Do Business in Ghana?

The Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) has revised its fees and charges for business registrations and related services in Ghana, impacting new investors and existing companies needing approvals.

Effective February 2, 2026, these updates align with the GIPC Fees and Charges (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Amendment) Regulations, 2025. They reshape costs for foreign and joint-venture businesses setting up or regularizing operations. All fees are non-refundable and subject to future changes without notice, so companies should build them into investment plans.

This move supports Ghana’s push for sustainable foreign direct investment amid stronger compliance measures.
