Coventry City forward Brandon Thomas-Asante says representing Ghana is a dream come true.
The England-born attacker made his Ghana debut in July 2024 and has scored one goal in seven appearances.
“Representing Ghana is more than football; it’s about family and roots,” he told PFA. “The jersey carries weight because of legends like Asamoah Gyan and Michael Essien. To be part of that history is a massive honour.”
Thomas-Asante has been in top form for Coventry City, scoring 10 goals and providing three assists in 17 appearances. He hopes to recover from injury and make the Black Stars squad for the 2026 World Cup in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
