Bechem United Split Points With Hearts of Lions

Bechem United played out a 1-1 draw in an evenly contested encounter with Kpando Hearts of Lions on Ghana Premier League’s Matchday 28 at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.

The first half featured intense midfield battles, with each other ,pressure from Bechem United, it was Kpando Hearts of lion who struck first, thanks to a swift counterattack. In the 10th minute, striker Emmanuel Sakyi latched onto a through-ball and expertly finished past the Bechem United goalkeeper, giving the visitors a 1-0 lead.

Bechem United, however, responded with resilience and intensified their attack in search of an equalizer. The home team’s efforts paid off just before halftime, when a well-taken corner kick found defender Francis Acquah, who headed the ball into the net in the 45th minutes to level the score at 1-1.

The second half continued with both teams pushing for a winning goal, but neither side could break the deadlock. Bechem United had a few clear-cut chances, but Hearts of Lion’s defense stood firm, with their goalkeeper making key saves to keep the scoreline intact.

With the draw, Bechem United and Kpando Hearts of lions both take a point from the match, Bechem United lies at 6th position with 40 points whiles Kpando Hearts of lions lies at relegation zone 17th position with 29 points after playing 28 games . As the season progresses, both teams will be aiming to secure more wins to improve their standings and achieve their season goals.
