Augustine Arhinful Criticizes Black Stars Squad Selection for Japan and Korea friendlies

Former Black Stars player Augustine Arhinful has attributed Ghana’s 2-0 loss to Japan to the absence of key players like Thomas Partey, Mohammed Kudus, and Jordan Ayew.

Arhinful believes that if these players had been part of the squad, the outcome would have been different.

Arhinful pointed out that the absence of Partey, Kudus, and Jordan Ayew was a significant blow to the team’s chances. He expressed confidence that with these players, Ghana would have put up a stronger fight against Japan.

“If the likes of Partey, Kudus and Jordan Ayew played against Japan, we wouldn’t have lost, we should have paraded our best players for matches like this. This should be our AFCON”

The former Black Stars player did not hold back in his criticism of the squad selection, implying that the team lacked firepower and creativity without the missing players.

Arhinful’s comments have sparked debate among football fans, with some agreeing that the team’s performance was disappointing.
