Black Stars’ Doors Are Open For All Ghanaian Players – Coach Otto Addo Confesses

The head coach of Ghana Black Stars Otto Addo, has expressed that the doors of the Black Stars are open to all Ghanaian players.

In meeting the press to name his squad for the Afcon qualifiers against Angola and Niger , coach Otto Addo expressed his belief in giving every deserving Ghanaian player, whether local or abroad-based, the opportunity to represent the nation at the highest level.

Coach Otto Addo has been keen on scouting and integrating talent from all corners of the globe and aimed to ensure that the national team blends and reflects the best of what the Black Stars has to offer.

“We are not limiting our options, the door is open to all Ghanaian players . Any player who proves himself worthy, whether playing in Europe, Asia, or in our domestic leagues, has a chance to don the national colors. My job is to build the strongest team possible, and that means considering every player with the potential to contribute to our success.”- coach Otto Addo

Coach Otto Addo added – ” It was a very difficult decision to make because we had a lot of good players competition in the same positions but as a coach , am only entitled to select 23 players for the games “.
