Ghanaian musician AK Songstress has opened up why she thinks Ghanaian musicians have low digital music streams.
Speaking on Property FM, she accused the hardship in the country as the cause of their low music streams.
The Jonathan hitmaker explained that the high cost of data restricts their streaming figures, in addition to challenges in the country.
She said; “Data is expensive all over the world and things are very difficult everywhere you go but the hardships in Ghana are extra.
I will say that expensive data is also a factor but not limited to that alone, which contributes to our low streams here in Ghana, unlike the Nigerians.”
“I agree somewhat with anyone who says that the expensive cost of data is why most Ghanaians here in the country can’t stream our songs.”
