Member of Parliament (MP) for Krowor constituency in the Greater Accra region, Hon Dr Agnes Naa Momo Lartey has donated 24 pieces of butterfly electric sewing machines to 24 graduates from the Ghana Dressmakers and Tailors Association (GDTA) in the Krowor constituency.
The graduation was held over the weekend at the Nungua Authority area with 15 grandaunts from Zone 2 and Teshie Nungua’s first junction which is Zone 1 with 9 grandaunts.
Speaking to @Ahotoronline.com, Mrs. Lartey congratulated them and called on them to make great impacts in society as they go out in their various areas in the constituency to help others develop their skills to bring development to Krowor.
According to her, time has changed the minds of people who used to say tailoring is for the block but rather people need to acquire academics to help calculations in sewing to get it standard.
She called on her constituents to welcome the 24-hour economic policy from the NDC and John Dramani Mahama to help boost the economic situation for the better.
She said the policy has come to change the lives of the youth by creating more jobs to solve the unemployment situation in Ghana.
