General Secretary of Convention People’s Party (CPP) Nana Yaa Akyempim Januah is advocating the dismissal of the management of the Volta River Authority (VRA) who is responsible for the Akosombo dam spillage.
According to her, ‘we should not be lazy in our thinking and also, there should be an innovative way on doing things’, she said.

Speaking on Adekye Nsromma today, Madam Jantuah said the Authority should be able to tell the minister of their problem and follow up to the President for a solution because telling the people to evacuate from their homes is not enough.
Adding that, the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) needs to be resourceful so they can as matter of urgent, visit affected people and help them.
